Anne Phung Nguyen

My name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in gorgeous Orange County California with my wonderful fiance JP and happy go lucky Dad Henry. I am most well-known through my Instagram account @annephung. Here I tell my life story. The highs, the lows, and everything in between. When I was in 1990, I moved to America along with my brother and parents at the age of one-and-half. If it wasn't for my parents' devotion to perseverance and sacrifice it is likely that I would not be here sharing my journey. As I knew I could be a successful person and I wanted to succeed and make my parents happy. My goals were set: I would go to university, get an employment in a company as well as marry and then buy an apartment. I figured that was the epitome of success but life was not so sure to demonstrate the meaning of success. In 2013, my job as a corporate employee was something I dreaded. The status and wealth didn't bring me happiness. I felt I wasted my time to make a living. When I started to take steps towards my new life path I discovered that I was a personal trainer and the career path I was looking for. I'm a sucker for exercise, enjoy being with people and help people. In 2014, I launched my business on the side and in this year in 2021, I'll be celebrating my 7th anniversary. Being a Asian woman in the industry, there are a few. I strive to become a catalyst within the business to offer high-quality coaching that allows people to live a more healthy and happier individual by developing a sustainable lifestyle cater to their personal needs and goals. Also, I strive to inspire people to pursue their dreams and do anything and everything they want to achieve in their lives. When my professional career began to take off, I had the most devastating loss of my life - my mom's death. To be in Heaven she is now in peace after an 8-year battle against the disease known as Scleroderma. But I still carry her with me and think of her daily. Life's lessons often go unnoticed, but they can be extremely valuable. Many ways, the loss of my mother changed me. I truly believe she offered me another chance to be a part of her story after she passed away. It was Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she passed. The opportunity was there to embark on a new journey as I was given my second shot at an enjoyable and satisfying life. Now into my 30's I'm alive and alert. of the fact that I am living now rather than merely living as the person I was back in my previous. I am sharing my experiences with you in hopes that you can resonate with my stories and thoughts so that you can know that you are not the only one, to be aware that you are beyond capable of anything that you can imagine. that true love exists that therapy is normal and needed to be healthy is truly the best source of wealth. My hope is that you live your life fully and that your final resting place is not a regret, as that's the only thing that we have to be confident about for the rest of our lives.
