April Lockhart
April Lockhart (born July 4 in 1995) started her musical journey in the 7th grade when she took guitar and piano classes. In the seventh grade April started taking piano and guitar lessons. This ignited her interest in songwriting. She spent lots of the time of 14 writing songs and practicing the piano. The following months, she began taking writing trips along with her father in LA in addition to NY. April was also able to add other themes in the tune "Take My Hand" to help her friends who dealt with problems like peer pressure, issues, or even teenage suicide. Lockhart also enjoys an increasing following as a lifestyle influencer and is employed by the renowned brand of clean and natural beauty Ilia. Lockhart was never born having a left-handed hand, which is the reason she's who she is. It's just not the full story. Lockhart doesn't deny her disability on her Instagram account, but she isn't making it the focal point of the post. What message does it convey? The message? We are all multifaceted, and that our identities and physical self aren't as appear. Lockhart is interviewed through video from Nashville. "I don't wish for it to dictate my existence. I'm not looking to be only known as a disability expert. My daily life isn't dependent on it. I lead a normal, everyday life and find my own solutions to problems. In addition, I see that it is a crucial aspect of me. Lockhart encourages us to keep striving to be self-accepting. Still she admits she's gone through phases with her body, at times, feeling insecure to wear certain types of clothing showing the arms of her. She wears what she likes and proudly posts pictures of herself wearing the clothes she picks out on social platforms. Self-love, according to her, is a kind of journey. "I do not think that you'll be there," she said. It's a fact that I see with everyone with whatever their insecurity is. It is important to have people that know and understand you. They will be the ones to ask what you fret about?
